Destination :  Chennai- Kanchipuram- Mahabalipuram- Chennai- Trichy- Tanjore- Madurai- Periyar- Kochi- Goa- Mumbai- Departure

Day 01 : Arrival at Chennai

The guests shall arrive at the Chennai airport for a South India temples and beach tour.  The guests shall be received by one of our representative who shall escort the guests to the hotel as pre- planned under the Chennai itinerary.  At the Chennai hotel guests shall be accommodated for night.

Day 02 : At Chennai

On this day your tour to South India temples and beach shall begin with a sightseeing tour of Chennai.  The highlight of this tour shall include a visit to the National Art Gallery and Museum, St. Mary’s Church, Fort St. George and Kapaleeshwarar Temple.

 

Day 03 : Chennai- Kanchipuram- Mahabalipuram- Chennai

This day shall bring a voyage to nearby temple towns, Kanchipuram and Mahabalipuram. Kanchipuram also known as town of thousand temples shall be a prime attraction of your South- India itinerary.  The guests shall visit Ekambareswarar Temple, Kailashnatha Temple, Kamakshi Amman Temple and more at Kanchipuram followed by a tour of temples of Mahabalipuram.  The trip shall be followed by a journey back to Chennai and overnight stay at Chennai hotel.

Day 04 : Chennai- Trichy

The next destination on your itinerary for South India shall be Trichy and the guests shall drive to Trichy in a quick succession post breakfast at Chennai hotel.  At Trichy the guests shall be accommodated in a hotel which shall be followed by a visit to some of the tourist destination of Trichy, including Rock Fort Temple, Thayumanaswamy Temple, Jambukeshwara Temple and The Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple which showcases the splendid architecture of South India.

Day 05 : Trichy- Tanjore

The morning drive post breakfast shall bring an enroute visit to Srirangam.  At Srirangam the guests shall pay a quick visit to the Ranganthaswamy Temple and resume the journey to Tanjore.  At Tanjore all the arrangements for making your South India tour a comfortable experience shall be made by our tour operator in Chennai.

Day 06 : Tanjore- Madurai

The guests shall be provided an entire day for exploring the city.  The sightseeing tour shall include a visit to Sri Brihadeeswarar Temple and churches of Tanjore.  The guests shall then drive to Madurai in the evening where they shall stay in a hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 07 : At Madurai

This day in your South India temples and beach tour shall bring a sightseeing tour of Madurai.  The highlights of the tour shall be a visit to the splendid Meenakshi Temple after which guests shall retire in their rooms at hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 08 : Madurai- Periyar

On this day the guests shall be provided a sumptuous breakfast at hotel which shall be followed by a drive to Periyar Wild Life Sanctuary.  At Periyar guests shall be accommodated in a hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 09 : At Periyar

The morning boat ride at Periyar Lake surely shall be a tranquilizing experience and shall provide an opportunity for exploring the wildlife at Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary.  The afternoon at Periyar shall be free for leisure activities at hotel where guests shall spend the rest of the day.

Day 10 : Periyar- Kochi

The guests then shall be provided an opportunity to explore the beauteous Kottayam backwaters which shall be followed by a backwater cruise to Alleppey post lunch.  The journey shall finally drive the guests to Kochi where they shall check- in the hotel where they shall stay for the night.

Day 11 : At Kochi

The morning tour shall usher the guests through famous St. Francis Church, The Mattancherry Synagogue and the Parishath Thampuram Museum.  The afternoon shall bring a soothing cruise ride throught the lagoons at Kochi followed by a night stay at hotel.

Day 12 : Kochi- Goa

On the morning of 12th day of your South India temples and beach tour you shall be accompanied by our representative to airport from where you shall board a flight to Goa.  On arrival at Goa you shall be transferred and accommodated to the hotel where you shall stay for the night.

Day 13 : At Goa

This day shall provide an opportunity for an extensive visit to the sun- kissed beaches of Goa.  The guests shall enjoy the day at golden beaches of Goa renowned for its lush green hills and azure waterfront. 

Day 14 : Goa- Mumbai

The morning flight shall transfer the guests to Mumbai on this day.  At Goa escorted by one of our representative the guests shall lodge in the hotel of their choice for an overnight stay in the city.

Day 15 : At Mumbai

At morning of this day the guests shall proceed for an excursion of the city.  The sightseeing tour of the city shall include a visit to Mumbai Harbor and Elephanta Caves.  Post lunch the guests shall visit the exotic Malabar Hill, Kamala Nehru Park, the Hanging Gardens, Parsi Towers of Silence and other attractions such as Chowpatty Beach, the Prince of Wales Museum and Gateway of India.  The day shall be concluded at the hotel where guests shall stay for the night.

Day 16 : Mumbai- Departure

The final day of your South India tour shall be free for leisure.  In the evening the guests shall depart for Mumbai airport from where they shall board the flight back home.
