Day 01 : Arrival in Chennai
A traditional South Indian hospitality awaits your arrival in Chennai. This capital city of Tamil Nadu is the host city for most of the South India Tour. On your expected arrival you will be transferred to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 02 : Chennai- Mahabalipuram- Chennai
On this second day of your tour you will set forth for a full day sight seeing tour to Mahabalipuram after breakfast. Mahabalipuram is a famous temple town which is a desired tourist spot in a Chennai Tour. You will enjoy watching the exquisite rock carvings in Mahabalipuram. Also visit the magnificent Shore Temple. After an enthralling trip, return back to your hotel and stay overnight.
Day 03 : Chennai- Trichy
On this third day of your tour you will visit Fort St George and St Mary’s Church in the morning. Your tour is complimented by our Chennai Itinerary. Afterwards you will be driven to the railway station to board your afternoon train to Trichy. On reaching Trichy you will be transferred to your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 04 : Trichy
Trichy is one fascinating destination in your South India Panoramic Tour. After breakfast you will set forth for a temple tour of Rock Fort Temple and Srirangam Temple. Both these temples offer magnificent views to its onlookers. After your trip return back to hotel and stay overnight.
Day 05 : Trichy- Tanjore- Madurai
On your fifth day of the tour you will set forth for Madurai en route stopping over Tanjore. Tanjore is famous for its majestic Chola Temple of Brideshwar. After sight seeing of Tanjore proceed ahead Madurai. Transfer to hotel on arrival and stay overnight.
Day 06 : Madurai
After your breakfast you will set forth for a sight seeing tour of the famous Meenakshi Temple. The temple is quite famous for its rich architectural works and exquisite carvings to the rest of the world. After your fascinating trip, get back to your hotel and stay overnight in Madurai.
Day 07 : Madurai- Periyar
Your next destination of your South India Panoramic Tour is Kerala. On this seventh day of your tour you will be driven to Periyar by road. On your arrival check into your hotel and freshen up. After lunch you will proceed for a visit to the scented spice plantations. You will also enjoy a pleasant boat ride along the calm Lake Periyar. Also enjoy game viewing. After your trip get back to hotel and stay overnight.
Day 08 : Periyar- Quilon
After breakfast you will take off for Quilon by road within duration of 4 hours. You will enjoy a three- hour backwater cruise from Kottayam to Alleppey. After reaching Alleppey you will be transferred to Quilon via road. Stay overnight at Quilon.
Day 09 : Quilon
The entire day is at leisure. You can enjoy a short sight seeing tour in Quilon. Stay overnight in Quilon.
Day 10 : Quilon- Cochin
In the morning check out from hotel after breakfast for Cochin by road. After reaching, check into your hotel and fresh up. Enjoy a half day city sight seeing tour. Highlights of the tour include Jewish Synagogue and Dutch Palace. Get back to the hotel and stay overnight.
Day 11 : Cochin- Mumbai- Departure
After breakfast you will be transferred to the airport for your connecting flight to Mumbai. You will enjoy a half day sight seeing tour of Mumbai. Mumbai is a hip-hop Indian city which hosts various commercial centres in India. The city attracts many tourists all year round. Highlights of the city include Gateway of India, Dhobi Ghat, Rajabhai Clock Tower, Marine Drive, Aquarium, hanging Garden, Crawford market, Victoria terminus and Prince of Wales museum.
