Day 01: Arrive Chennai
Reach Chennai late in the evening and transfer to hotel.Overnight at Cheenai.
Day 02 : Chennai
In the morning, we leave for the city tour. We visit Fort St George and St Mary's Church, St Thomas Cathedral and return to hotel for lunch. Rest of day free. Overnight in Chennai.
Day 03 : Kanchipuram
Today, we visit the Kanchepuram Temples, Kailasanatha Temple and Vaikunda Perumal Temple. Lunch in Kanchepuram and then we drive to Mahabilipuram. Overnight in Mahabalipuram.
Today we spend the entire day at Mahabilipuram discovering the stunning rock carvings of this small temple town . After lunch you are free to explore at your leisure or enjoy the beach. Overnight in Mahabilipuram.
Day 05 : Pondicherry
After breakfast, we drive to Pondicherry, visiting Auroville en route. Check in to hotel at Pondicherry. After lunch and few hours rest we visit Aurobindo Ashram. Overnight at Pondicherry
After an early breakfast,we leave Pondicherry for the Chidambaram Temple to see their morning puja. Briefly visit the auspicious Mahamaham Tank at Kumbukonam, and Darasuram Temple. In the evening, we drive to Tanjore for overnight stay.
Day 07: Tanjore
Half day city tour of Tanjore. We go visit the Brideshwara Temple, Art Gallery and Palace. Drive to Trichy. Overnight stay at Trichy
Today, we explore the city of Trichy visiting the Srirangam Vishnu Temple and Rock Fort Temple. After lunch, we drive to Madurai. Overnight at Madurai.
We spend the entire day at Madurai by visiting Mariamman Teppakulam, Meenakshi Temple and Nayak Palace. Afternoon at leisure. In the evening, you have the option for witnessing night ceremony at Meenakshi Temple. Overnight at Madurai.
Today we drive to the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary through lush green agricultural and hill areas. Check in to hotel then after lunch ad few hours rest, we take a afternoon boat ride on Lake Periyar. Overnight at Periyar.
Day 11 : Cochin
Option for boat ride and Spice Plantation tour. Drive to Kottayam. After lunch, we take a private boat tour of the backwaters to Alleppey. From Alleppey,we drive to Cochin. Overnight at Cochin.
Day 12 : Cochin
Full day sightseeing of Fort Cochin. St Francis Church, Chinese Fishing Nets, Spice Market, Matancherry Palace, Antique Market and Jewish Synagogue. Evening Kathakali dance program. Overnight at Cochin.
Day 13 : Departure
Transfer to railway station or airport for onward journey.
