Day 01: Arrival at Chennai
The guests shall arrive at the Chennai international airport where you shall be welcomed by our representative with an itinerary constructed most meticulously for touring churches of South India. The guests escorted by our representative then will be transferred to the hotel pre- booked as planned under their Churches of South India tour. The overnight stay at Chennai shall surely chase away your fatigue preparing you for an illustrious journey ahead.
Day 02: Chennai- Thanjavur
The morning shall advance with a sumptuous meal at the hotel which shall be followed by a full day sightseeing tour of the city. Accompanied by an experienced guide the guests shall visit some of the picturesque churches of Chennai such as St. Mary’s Church, Santhome Basilica, Velankanni Church. A visit to the exquisite Marina Beach shall bequeath the guests with most pleasing memories of their South India tour. The evening shall mark another voyage to the next destination; the guests shall board the train for an overnight journey to Thanjavur.
Day 03: Thanjavur- Velankanni- Thanjavur
The guests shall be received at the railway station by our representative who shall escort them to their hotel in Thanjavur as pre- planned under their South India itinerary. The guests shall receive leisure services and prepare for a full day excursion to near by tourist destination Velankanni. The tour shall include a visit to the famous The Arokiya Madha Church or Velankanni Basilica.
Day 04: Thanjavur- Madurai
The fourth day of your itinerary for South India shall commence a journey to Madurai and en route visit to Trichy. At Madurai the guests shall be accommodated in the hotel of their choice where they shall stay for the night.
Day 05: Madurai- Trivandrum
The churches of South India tour at Madurai then shall bring another expedition to the next destination Trivandrum post breakfast. The guests accompanied by our representative shall drive to Trivandrum where they shall be accommodated in the hotel of their choice. Madre De Deus Church popularly known as Vettukad Church is one of destination on the tour.
Day 06: Trivandrum- Kollam- Kottayam
The churches of South-India tour then shall take you to the beauteous Kollam backwaters. The tour to the beauteous retreat shall be elongated further with a visit to Kottayam via houseboat. The guests shall be accommodated in a hotel booked previously according to their preference by our tour operator in Chennai
Day 07: Kottayam- Kochi
Your Chennai itinerary then shall include a half day tour of Kottayam churches such as Cheriya Palli,Valiya Palli and St. Mary Church also Lourdes Forane Church. The evening drive to Kochi shall take place post lunch. At Kochi the guests shall check- into hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 08: At Kochi
On the eight day of churches of South- India tour shall bring a full day tour of Kochi and its splendid churches such as St. Francis and Malayatoor Church. The evening shall be marked by an illustrious performance of Kathakali Dance show followed by a sumptuous dinner at hotel.
Day 09: Kochi- Kozhikode
The voyage shall re-commence on this day transferring the guests to the next destination on their churches of South- India tour. Post breakfast the guests shall travel to Kozhikode where they shall be accommodated in the hotel booked previously.
Day 10: At Kozhikode
This day shall be devoted entirely to excursion of Kozhikode especially its churches such as The Mother of God Church and St. Mary’s Church. Overnight stay at the city shall conclude this day of your churches of South India tour.
Day 11: Kozhikode- Mumbai
The guests on this day shall be transferred to the airport where our representative shall make all the pre- arrangements for your flight to Mumbai. The guests shall be provided a half day for touring churches of Mumbai which include Mt. Mary Church, St. Michael’s Church, St. Thomas’ Cathedral and Wodehouse Church. The guests shall spend the night in their Mumbai hotel.
Day 12: Mumbai- Goa
The guests shall enjoy the morning at Mumbai by indulging into leisure activities. The afternoon shall be assigned for a flight to the next destination, Goa. At Goa received by our representative the guests shall be accommodated in a hotel/ resort as per their preference for an overnight stay.
Day 13: At Goa
This day of your churches of South- India tour shall be devoted to leisure activities and visit to the churches of Old Goa which include Chapel of St. Francis Xavier, Church of the Carmelites, Se Cathedral, The Church of St. Monica and more. The guests shall spend the night at their Goa hotel.
Day 14: Goa- Mumbai- Departure
The morning shall be free for leisure activities which shall be followed by an afternoon flight to Mumbai. The guests escorted by our representative shall travel back home boarding the flight from Mumbai.
