Day 01: Arrive Chennai
Arrive at Chennai and after a few hour rest ,we drive to Mahabalipuram. Overnight at Mahabalipuram.
Day 02: Mahabalipuram
Full day sightseeing in Mahabalipuram covering Shore temple,the Five Rathas, Tiger Cave etc. Overnight at Mahabalipuram.
Full day excursion to Kanchipuram temples namely the Kailashnath temple and the Vaikhunt Perumal temple. Overnight at Mahabalipuram.
Day 04: Pondicherry
Gingee Fort and on to Pondicherry. Visit the Aurobindo Ashram, Mother;s Mandir etc.Overnight at Pondicherry.
Drive to Chidambaram, Gangaikondacholapuram, and Darasuram and view those magnificent temples with theri beautiful sculptures.. Overnight at Tanjore.
Day 06: Tanjore-Trichy
Full day sightseeing in Tanjore and in the evening drive to Trichy. Overnight at Trichy.
Today we take an excursion to visit Nartamalai and Cittinnavasal, - famous Jain cave temples with paintings dating back to 6th Century.Return to Trichy. Overnight at Trichy.
Day 08: Karaikudi-Madurai
Drive to Karaikudi and visit Chettinad Palace, drive to Madurai. Overnight at Madurai.
Full day sightseeing of Madurai temples covering cover Ariamman Teppakulam, the magnificent Meenakshi-Sundareswara Temple and Nayak Palace. Overnight at Madurai.
Day 10 : Kanyakumari
Drive to Kanyakumari and enjoy the sunset and sunrise where the Arabian Sea, Bay of Bengal and Indian Ocean meet. Visit Vivekenanda and Gandhi Memorials along with the breathtaking statue of Tiruvallavur.
Proceed to Padmanabhapuram Teak Palace and continue on to Kovalam. Overnight at Kovalam.
Day 12 : Kovalam
Full day rest at Kovalam Beach. Overnight at Kovalam.
Drive to Cochin, en route take 3 hour backwater trip by motor boat. Spend the evening watching a breathtaking Kathakali dance performance. Overnight at Cochin.
Day 14 : Cochin-Ooty
Full day sightseeing around Cochin. Night halt at Cochin.
Drive to Ooty or take the Niligiri mountain rail from Coonoor to Ooty amdist beautiful sorrundings. Overnight at Ooty.
Day 16 : Ooty-Mysore
Drive to Mysore and upon arrival visit Mysore Palace. Overnight halt at Mysore.
Day 17 : Mysore
Full day sightseeing around Mysore. Nightstay at Mysore.
Day 18 : Mysore-Hassan
Drive to Belur and Halebid to visit the 10th century Hoysala Temples. Overnight at Hassan.
Day 19 : Hospet
Drive to Hospet. Overnight at Hospet.
Today we spend the entire day at the UNESCO site of Hampi.Hampi, now in ruins was once the capital of the Vijaynagara Kingdom and has many beautiful temples and sculptures. Overnight at Hospet.
Day 21 : Hampi
Full day visit to Hampi. Overnight at Hospet.
Day 22 : Bangalore
Drive to Bangalore airport for onward flight.
